The o2 Group Creates New Video to Promote Dining Out for Life, Project Angel Heart's Premier Event that Raises Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars to Help People Battling Life-Threatening Illnesses
The o2 Group, Golden's premier Web site, video and event development agency, today announced the completion and launch of a new video that will promote the upcoming Dining Out for Life event to be held on April 29, 2010.
DENVER, CO, April 27, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The o2 Group, Golden's premier Web site, video and event development agency, today announced the completion and launch of a new video that will promote the upcoming Dining Out for Life event to be held on April 29, 2010.
Dining Out for Life, a day-long event in which more than 300 participating restaurants donate 25 percent of their food sales to Project Angel Heart, raises hundreds of thousands of dollars to benefit people living with life-threatening illnesses in metropolitan Denver. In 2009, more than 300 restaurants and more than 80,000 diners participated, raising an impressive $340,000.
The new video created by the o2 Group, captures how easy it is for anyone to participate in Dining Out for Life by simply eating breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner at participating restaurants. By enjoying a delicious meal, diners can support their favorite restaurants and help raise money for a vital cause. In 2009, Project Angel Heart delivered over 410,000 meals to more than 1,800 clients, free of charge.
"We are excited about our partnership with o2 Group for our 2010 Dining Out for Life event. With their support, we will raise awareness about our Dining Out for Life fundraiser, which supports those battling life-threatening illness," says Project Angel Heart's public and community relations coordinator, LaKeasha Smith.
The relationship between the o2 Group and Project Angel Heart developed out of the o2 Group's desire to serve the community by giving back through a pro bono video donation. In return, Project Angel Heart granted o2 a sponsorship mention in event marketing materials. Both organizations are pleased with the trade arrangement and the final video, which promises to heighten awareness of Dining Out for Life.
"We are excited for people to see the new video and to learn why Dining Out for Life is so important," says o2 president Michael Sitzman. "The video will serve to help people understand how they can both enjoy a wonderful meal and help people receive a wonderful meal--all at the same time."
